Gabriella

Gabriella, an amiable and intelligent young girl, wants to ensure that the people who she adores never abandon her.

Reportedly handed around from home to home, she became traumatized by continuously losing those she loved. Separation anxiety developed -- fearing every goodbye is forever -- and it will take her time and extraordinary patience on your part for her to realize she can always depend on you to come back to her. (There is no single and instant remedy for separation anxiety, but we can talk with you here about crate-training, steady lifestyle routines, and other reasonable measures that are effective.)

Gabriella is a gorgeous Border Collie & Queensland Heeler mix, 2 years of age and spayed, good with dogs her size and larger, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Monarch

The pain in Monarch's young face is heartbreaking. He begs everyone he meets not to hurt him. 

We can only imagine what this sensitive boy endured. Monarch is beginning to realize he is safe and he is improving with trust. He is drawn to soft-spoken, gentle people. 

Monarch is a Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher mix, 2 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help due to his traumatic past.

Donald

Donald was weaving through morning rush hour traffic on one of the busiest streets in Las Vegas. A small group of Nevada SPCA staff and volunteers succeeded in catching him and averting tragedy.

Donald yearns for kindness and peace-of-mind. His past has been violent. His ears were crudely cut off and maimed, quick movements around his face terrify him, and he has bite marks on his legs. 

 

We suspect Donald's love was exploited and his innocence betrayed by a person or persons trying to fight him.

Donald is a Bully mix, 6 years of age, now neutered and pleading for a hero to come adopt him at Nevada SPCA.
